So stoked when a parcel arrived in my mail from James Ballantyne. My wife and James had been colluding on a gift for my 40th and couldn’t have been more blown away when I opened it - he caught our likeness brilliantly! Very talented man.
When I discovered James had painted this aspect of Murawai (all stormy as we like it!) I knew it was meant for me & had to have it to hang in my home. I am in love!
It’s on this beach that I feel closest to God. Where I have been revived & found rest for my soul. Walking in the wind & rain I am struck by God’s incredible & beautiful nature.
Here I have sent up prayers & have returned to thank him for the answers to those prayers. He really is a miracle working God and creation like this testifies to this fact!
Thank you James for this piece of perfection. For painting my beloved Murawai just the way I like it & see it. I feel like I’m there in your canvas.
